🏟️ About Rally House

Rally House opened in 2025 and is built purely for pickleball: seven indoor courts with professional cushion surfaces (easier on knees than concrete) in a climate-controlled hall, so heat, rain and smoky-season air aren't a problem. Courts are themed in "Heritage Green" and "Brick Red" colour sets.

It's more than a court-hire venue. There's a resident coaching team, structured beginner sessions, a weekly kids' class and open play most days of the week. With roughly 1,500 members, its Reclub group is the second-largest pickleball community in Chiang Mai, behind All Time Pickleball.

The catch is location: it's out in Mae Hia on the Middle Ring Road, not in town. If you're staying in the Old City or Nimman you'll need a Grab or your own wheels.

⚖️ Pros & cons

Our honest take, based on the facilities, prices and schedule.

👍 Good for

  • Indoor and climate-controlled, so it's playable in any season, including smoky season
  • Cushioned courts are kind to joints, which suits older players and long sessions
  • A clear path for new players: a foundation class, then beginner open play, then intermediate
  • Happy-hour pricing makes afternoon court hire cheap if you're a group of four
  • One of the few places in town with a regular kids' class
  • Several coaches with tournament results, teaching in Thai and English

👎 Worth knowing

  • Out of town in Mae Hia, so not walkable from the Old City or Nimman
  • Evening court hire at full rate (250 THB/hr) is above Jedyod (200) and BYC (140)
  • Weekday morning open play is "beginner" but assumes you already know the rules
  • Private coaching (600+ THB/hr plus court fee) costs more than the city's group clinics
