🌳 About BokBok

BokBok is a four-court venue in Pa Daet, south of the Old City, built around a simple idea: come for a game, stay for a coffee. Courts 1 and 2 are roofed (semi-indoor), and courts 3 and 4 are open-air. Everything is surrounded by trees, with a café and seating area where people hang out between games.

It has quickly become one of the city's busiest communities. Its Reclub group has more than 2,100 members, second only to All Time Pickleball. Open play is clearly organised by level, from newbie and beginner sessions up to intermediate-plus, and the weekday morning sessions include a free coffee or tea.

Courts book online with live availability, and you can also book coaching there: pick a coach and time, pay the court fee online, then pay the coach at the counter.

⚖️ Pros & cons

Our honest take, based on the facilities, prices and schedule.

👍 Good for

  • Relaxed, social atmosphere with a café and green surroundings
  • Good-value court hire at 200 THB/hr, about 50 THB each for a four
  • Well-organised open play by level, from beginner (80 THB) to intermediate
  • Morning sessions include coffee or tea
  • Easy online booking for courts and coaches
  • A wide coaching range, from beginner-friendly to advanced (DUPR 5)
  • Fair rain policy: you get credit for any time lost to rain

👎 Worth knowing

  • Only two of the four courts are roofed, so the open-air courts depend on the weather and smoky season
  • Popular morning sessions waitlist
  • Parking fills up at busy times (there's a free lot across the road after 3 PM)
  • Open play assumes you know the basics, so complete first-timers should book a lesson first
