🏟️ About Chiang Mai Pickleball (Jedyod)
Locals usually call it "Jedyod" after the nearby temple, Wat Chet Yod. This dedicated venue has eight roofed courts, which it bills as the largest in northern Thailand. The roof keeps play going through rain and harsh midday sun, and the open sides keep air moving. It's one of the closest venues to Nimman and the north-west of the city.
Booking is easy. The website shows a live grid of all eight courts with prices, and the 12–5 PM slots drop to 150 THB/hr, the cheapest court hire we've found in Chiang Mai. Its Reclub group has more than 1,070 members and runs evening open play for beginner-plus to intermediate players.
Reviewers consistently describe the owner as welcoming and helpful to newcomers.

⚖️ Pros & cons
Our honest take, based on the facilities, prices and location.
👍 Good for
- The cheapest court hire we've found: 150 THB/hr from 12 to 5 PM
- Eight courts, so it's usually easy to get a slot
- The roof keeps play going in rain and midday sun
- Close to Nimman, Maya and the north-west of the city
- Live online booking with prices shown up front
- A friendly, welcoming owner, according to reviews
👎 Worth knowing
- Not fully enclosed or air-conditioned, so it still feels heat and smoky-season haze
- Open play is evenings only (Wed–Fri) and not aimed at first-timers
- Coaching options are limited right now (the listed coach is on a break)
